Criticism/Response Outline

1. Re-work diagrams
-graph processes against things that are spatial
-be more qualitative

2. Think about program and adjacencies
-public vs. private
-location & interaction of program components (lobby, bar, guest rooms)

3. Analyze void (between High Line & Building)
-bar accessible to park?
-reflected ceiling/facade condition

Marc,
The space between the High Line and the existing structure is 2 stories (approx. 40'). (The proposed new building will be a glass box set on top of the existing structure.)
Would it be possible to open it up even further, say to 10 stories? Or alternatively, replicating the High Line/park condition every two stories within the building, so that there is an abstraction/ repetition of the open space vertically?
I don't want to get in over my head but I think a more dramatic height would be better.

yes...i think anything is possible at this point...
sensitivity to the bldg may become an issue...
depends on how you deal with it...
